19 characters. 3 vehicles, 22 different reasons to move.
Each earned their rank through real failure.

Your child opens the app, picks a character, and gets their mission briefing: short, visual, delivered in the character's own voice.

The character sends your child into the real world: to brush, tidy, move, or practise. The screen's job is to send them away from it.

When the real-world mission is done, it's logged. The character reward is earned. The parent is notified. Evidence of Effort recorded.

Characters locked. App in development. Mission Kits coming. Your waitlist spot reserves your place in the first beta cohort, and first access to the Mission Kit.

Grandparents know the screens are winning. Scrubbing Squad gives him a named role in their grandchild's hero journey, not as a visitor, but as the person who started the whole adventure.

SEND-optimised, OFSTED-aligned, and generating the wellbeing evidence your Trust needs before anyone asks for it.

Built in the UK. UK GDPR, PECR, COPPA-aligned.
Your child's data is yours.

SEND-friendly. Culturally inclusive. Works on any device. Free to join. Your heritage belongs here.

It is designed to do the opposite. Every mission ends with Green Eject: the screen goes dark, the character signs off, and your child goes back to the physical world. The platform is designed to send children away from the screen and into real life. The mission requires physical effort first. The screen celebrates it second. Atoms unlock Bits, not the other way around.
Ace Mode is built for this. It is not a setting buried in a menu: it is a first-class part of the calibration process from the moment you set up the app. For ASD and Sensory-Sensitive profiles: all high-energy animations are suppressed, celebrations are gentle fades rather than particle bursts, audio only plays if your child has chosen it, and the visual environment is low-chroma, high-contrast, and completely predictable. Every sensory shift on screen completes in under 16 milliseconds so there are no jarring transitions. Your child's Ace Mode configuration travels with them across every enrolled device in your family.
Heritage is not a barrier here: it is a foundation. Cultural and faith routines, from morning prayers to filial respect rituals to traditional practices, can be built directly into the mission structure. The platform does not impose a Western routine template on every family. Your family's traditions are missions. Your language is supported. Your values are the framework.
Yes. The free tier (Hero Recruit) gives you access to 35 features, training routines, and 8 Mission Card unlocks with no payment required. For families who need the full platform but cannot afford it, the Foundation funding model means that for every three paying families, one Foundation placement is funded. Foundation families receive the identical product, no degraded tier, no lesser experience. There is also an Earned-the-Moat path: Solidarity Credits allow families to work towards the physical gear progressively. No family is locked out by cost.
Yes. Every mission completion is timestamped and stored in an immutable ledger. It cannot be edited after it is recorded. That is not a marketing claim: it is an architectural property of the database. The evidence output is formatted to align with SEND Code of Practice requirements. You can generate PDF progress reports directly from the parent dashboard and share them with your child's school or local authority. The records carry Clinical Signature status because they cannot be retrospectively altered.
Yes. The platform is designed for shared devices and multi-child households. Hero Selection on a shared device uses a simple identity wheel so each child can pick their profile when a session begins. The offline-first architecture means the app runs on older devices and low-bandwidth connections. You do not need a dedicated device per child, and you do not need a fast internet connection for missions to run.
The Vanguard range is the physical layer of the platform: NFC-equipped toys, journals, kits, and accessories that children tap to verify real-world effort. You do not need the physical gear to start. The free tier runs without it. Paid tiers deliver a Recruit Kit with the Squad Access Key (V01) on signup. The physical gear unlocks premium digital features, but digital-only access is available from day one. The gear is being built and will ship when the platform opens.
We do not run advertising. We do not sell data. We do not monetise children's data outside the platform, ever. All AI processing happens on your own device: nothing your child sees or does requires a cloud round-trip. The only data that reaches our servers is a structured evidence record when a mission completes. Your child is never identified by their real name in the platform: they use a Hero Codename. Full data architecture and UK GDPR compliance details are in our Privacy Policy and Safety pages.
The grandparent experience is designed specifically for you. When a parent adds you as a Care Guardian, you receive a setup guide built for non-technical users: large buttons, clear steps, no jargon. The Silver Squad Hub is your view into your grandchild's world: you see their mission completions, send encouragement, and stay involved without needing to navigate the full app. If you get stuck, the Silver Support Concierge is there to walk you through it.
The Founding Mission Bundle is a physical gift that connects directly to the platform. But more than the object, what you are giving is a record. Every mission your grandchild completes from the day they start is stored in a verified, immutable ledger. By the time they are a teenager, they have a documented history of the values you helped build in them. The V12 Legacy Story Journal lets you record your voice, your stories, and your memories directly into their platform account. When they look back, they will find you there.
Yes. The Silver Squad Hub works from any device, anywhere. You can see mission completions as they happen, send a digital high-five, leave voice messages, and watch short video updates. Your grandchild can see your encouragement immediately. Distance does not change your role. You are still in the room.
The parent sets up and manages the family account. You are invited as a Care Guardian: the parent sends you an invitation, you accept it, and you are enrolled. You do not need a separate subscription. Your grandparent access is included within the family account. The gift you give at the shop goes towards the child's platform kit, which the parent activates. Nothing complicated on your end.
No. The Guardian Device Network means all enrolled devices in a family share the same child record. Evidence generated at Mum's house, Dad's house, and your house all routes to the same unbroken record. The child's progress is continuous, regardless of which device or which home they use the platform from. Their record follows them.
The Founding Mission Bundle from the shop is a standalone physical gift: a character tee, journal, sticker sheet, and poster. No account is needed to receive it. If the parent wants to connect it to the platform when it launches, the bundle works as a gift kit that activates directly. If they prefer to keep it as merchandise, it stands on its own. The choice is theirs. You are not forcing an obligation.
Yes. The institutional platform is designed for Trust-level deployment. A single institutional account can span multiple schools within the Trust, with cohort-level reporting available at Trust level and school-level data visible to individual school admins. Evidence records are consistent across sites. OFSTED audit packs can be generated at Trust level. Pilot terms are available for a founding cohort of Trusts in the 2026/27 academic year.
Every record in the Sovereign Ledger is WORM-enforced: Write Once Read Many. Once a completion record is committed, it cannot be altered, deleted, or retrospectively modified. That property is not a policy: it is an architectural constraint enforced at database level. An OFSTED inspector looking at a child's evidence record can verify that no record has been edited since it was first committed. The hash-chain integrity of every record is verifiable. This is what makes the evidence institutional-grade rather than a well-formatted spreadsheet.
The evidence output is designed for EHCP review. Timestamped completion logs, emotional state trends, routine adherence data, and mission progression are all exportable in formats aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. The SENCO dashboard allows you to filter by child, by date range, and by pillar. PDF evidence packs can be generated for individual reviews. The data is parent-owned and shared with the school only with parental consent, which is captured and stored in the consent audit trail.
It is designed to reduce it. The EHCP evidence that currently requires manual logging, observation notes, and chased parental updates is automated. The platform generates the log, formats it, and makes it exportable. The SENCO sees what they need without having to compile it. The first pilot schools in our founding cohort will receive dedicated SENCO onboarding support as part of their pilot terms.
A pilot is a defined cohort of families in one or more year groups using the platform for an agreed period, typically one term. The school receives cohort-level completion data, EHCP evidence packs for participating children, and a Trust-level summary report. The commitment is staff onboarding time and family communication. There is no per-pupil fee during the pilot. Applications are reviewed within 5 working days and pilot terms are agreed individually based on school size and SEND cohort profile.
The parent owns the child's data. The school can only access a child's individual data with explicit parental consent, captured during the school programme setup. Cohort-level data available to schools is anonymised at minimum 25-child group size to prevent individual identification. The platform is built for UK GDPR compliance from the ground up. All data processing agreements are in place before any institutional deployment. A full compliance summary is available in the application pack.
The commitment is 2 to 4 hours per month. This is not a nominal title: advisory board members are expected to maintain a consistent involvement rhythm, which means attending a monthly 30-minute review, completing a structured After Action Review each quarter, and opening doors within their domain where there is a genuine fit. We call this the Combat Rhythm. It is not complicated. It is consistent. Advisors who cannot sustain that rhythm are not the right fit for a founding board.
Advisory roles are voluntary and unpaid at this stage. We are pre-revenue and pre-raise. Advisors are supported by Unapproved Share Options with a one-year cliff and performance-based vesting thereafter. Unapproved Share Options is the correct UK tax term for options granted outside HMRC's approved schemes: they are standard at this stage of a build. The formal advisory agreement, which details the option terms, vesting schedule, and performance criteria, is issued after the DNA Audit process and before any options are granted. This page does not constitute a legal offer of options.
Yes. Everyone who joins the advisory board goes through a DNA Audit before their appointment is confirmed. It is not a background check. It is an alignment process: a structured conversation to verify that your personal why for being here is genuine, that your domain expertise is real, and that your communication style is compatible with how we operate. The Level 3 Why exercise asks you to anchor your contribution in a personal emotional driver, not a professional CV point. If that sounds unusual, it probably is not the right fit. If it sounds right, you likely already know why you want to be here.
More than if you joined later. The product architecture is live but not yet deployed. The evidence framework is designed but not yet validated in the field. The B2B category entry strategy is set but not yet tested. Clinical advisors can influence how the evidence output is structured before it is locked. EdTech advisors can shape the school programme terms before the first pilots run. SEND advisors can audit the Ace Mode specification before it ships. Joining now means your input is structural, not cosmetic.
Child development and clinical psychology. SEND practice and EHCP expertise. Media and intellectual property. EdTech and school leadership. ESG and social impact measurement. B2B corporate HR and wellbeing. Community development and sponsorship. We are not filling every domain immediately. We are looking for the right people in the right seats, in that order.
Yes. The advisory agreement includes a conflicts disclosure clause. We do not require exclusivity: most strong advisors are active across multiple organisations. We do require transparency about where conflicts could arise and a commitment not to use position on this board in ways that benefit competing interests. The IP Committee governs the IP estate independently, which provides an additional governance layer above the advisory board.
You share the mission with the people around you. Not as a sales rep: as someone who genuinely believes what we are building matters and wants other families to know about it. That might mean talking about it in a parent WhatsApp group, bringing it up at a community event, sharing the waitlist on social media, or simply telling one person who you think would benefit. It is grassroots, not corporate. You do it in the way that is natural to you.
No. Ambassador roles are voluntary at this stage. There is no financial compensation and no commission structure. What you get is early access to the platform before it opens publicly, named recognition in the founding ambassador community, access to a private channel with the founding team, and the knowledge that you were here before it began. We are not building an affiliate scheme. We are building a community of people who care about the same thing.
Yes. Ambassadors come from the full community around children: parents, grandparents, educators, SEND advocates, youth coaches, community leaders, faith community leaders, and anyone else who works with or cares about children aged 4 to 11. If the mission resonates and you have a community to share it with, you belong here.
There is no minimum time commitment. There is no quota of posts, referrals, or events. You share when it feels right, with the people it is right for. If you have a moment where someone asks what you are excited about and the answer is this, that is the role. We are not asking for a schedule. We are asking for belief.
You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours. If your application is a good fit for the founding ambassador community, we will follow up with a welcome to the private channel and your founding ambassador pack. We review every application personally. There is no automated acceptance: this is a real community, not a mailing list.
Hardware is the moat, not the liability. Every NFC tap generates a record in the Sovereign Ledger that no purely digital platform can replicate. A competitor can copy the app. They cannot copy seven years of verified, longitudinal NFC tap data accumulated one tap at a time from age four. V04 Joan Haptic Bear and V07 Signal Kit are non-gated: the platform delivers value at SEN intervention moments regardless of which other products the family owns. The Hardware-First Gate architecture means the clinical evidence standard cannot be matched without the physical layer.
Data sovereignty is the primary architectural constraint, not a compliance add-on. All AI inference runs on-device: no child-facing data leaves the family's device during a session. The Sovereign Ledger is WORM-enforced: no record can be altered or deleted after commitment. That is not a policy: it is a database-level architectural constraint. The 15-year retention architecture is set from Day 1 and is the commercial thesis, not a liability. The platform is designed to be GDPR-by-design. The full technical architecture is in the investor pack.
No competitor holds longitudinal NFC-verified child development data from ages 4 to 11. No competitor is building a Graduate tier that converts that childhood record into a young adult credential. The data moat is the position. It can only be accumulated one tap at a time, across the years of a child's life. By Year 5, the gap between Scrubbing Squad's data asset and any later entrant is permanent. The market is crowded at the app layer. Nobody is competing at the longitudinal data layer.
The structure is documented, transparent, and market-benchmarked. All intellectual property is personally owned by Mike J Midgley under a 100-year exclusive worldwide commercial licence to Scrubbing Squad Limited at a 5% royalty on net revenue with a £50,000 annual minimum floor post-profitability. An independent IP Committee with binding authority over licensing terms provides the governance layer. This structure protects 20 years of brand development while giving the company full commercial exploitation rights for the duration of any investment horizon. The full legal framework is in the investor pack.
We are pre-revenue and transparent about it. The investor pack contains the current traction data including waitlist volume, founding supporter growth rate, and institutional enquiries to date. We do not publish forward-looking financial projections on this page. The three-scenario financial model, unit economics, and gate criteria for each funding round are in the investor pack, available upon application.
We are raising a Pre-Seed round. Round size and terms are in the investor pack, shared under NDA following application review. We do not publish terms publicly. The investor pack includes the full commercial model, TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, IP estate overview, team, traction data, and current round terms. Apply below and we will be in touch within 5 working days.
Five categories. Category A is for media companies, streamers, publishers, and production houses looking to licence character IP. Category B is for ESG-focused brands wanting to connect physical products to a verified child development platform. Category C is for corporates wanting to offer child wellbeing as an employee benefit with measurable ESG reporting. Category D is for schools and educational institutions. Category E is for sponsorship organisations, sports clubs, youth academies, and brands funding community access. If you are still not sure after reading those, use the contact form and tell us who you are. We will route you correctly.
All Scrubbing Squad intellectual property, including the 18 characters, the brand, the platform name, and all creative assets, is personally owned by Mike J Midgley. Scrubbing Squad Limited operates under a 100-year exclusive worldwide commercial licence. Any licensing agreement you enter into is with Scrubbing Squad Limited as the authorised commercial licensee. The IP Committee, an independent body with binding authority over licensing terms, provides the governance layer that protects both parties. The full IP framework is available in the relevant partnership information pack.
The architecture is built to remove data risk from the partnership equation. All child-facing AI inference runs on-device: no child data is processed in the cloud during a session. The Sovereign Ledger stores only structured evidence records, never personally identifiable information in any platform-facing context. Children are identified by Hero Codename only. Your brand appears in the product experience without touching the data layer. Safe Harbor status means the IP framework is pre-cleared for compliance. The full technical compliance brief is in the partnership pack.
Phase 1 is UK-focused. Phase 2 opens the US market at Month 42. Phase 3 covers Ireland, Netherlands, and EU markets from Year 5. International partnerships can be discussed now and structured for phased deployment aligned with the roadmap. Character licensing for international media is available from Phase 1. Physical product partnerships for international markets are negotiated on a market-by-market basis. If you operate across multiple markets, the partnership pack will include the geographic deployment schedule.
